Jealousy is okay... We're hardwired to feel that way. It happens in nature. I've read books about it. Bison fight to the death over a mate. Female warblers crush other female warbler's eggs to get a mate.

Bucky and Murphy were kind of flirting and they kept saying I had an axe. It kind of pissed me off that they assumed I was a crazy woman... but to be honest, I was a little jealous.

I don't know that they were together or anything, she was just [...] his person that he relied on, and that's what I was before I was anything else to him, so it's almost worse, in a way. I can't blame him for relying on someone else if I wasn't there, though, that's stupid.

You were his best friend, not just his ... whatever the two of you ended up as. It's hard to see your friends become friends with other people. You wonder if they like you as much as they like them. I get it.

You think it's awful? Good. Because I was thinking it was stupid they acted like I would kill someone. Like I like to, or something.

I was jealous of you and Gale. I was jealous you had a sister like Prim that you loved so much. I'm bad at it, too. But I don't want to scare Murphy off.
