Depends on if you mean people you know personally or people you've heard of.

Out of our family only Dad and Fred aren't here. And yes, it is possible because people can be brought here from different points in time. Mum's younger, my future son and granddaughter are here. Professor Lupin's here, as well as Tonks. James and Lily Potter, Sirius Black, Emmeline Vance and Dorcas Meadowes. I'm probably missing more, to be honest.

The stores that are available here. You'll have to find a job, which I haven't found yet, but it's how you'll make money.
