Since we've done Thanksgiving and it's almost December it's about time to bring back Secret Santa, I think. We did it last year but for the new people who don't know, December 25 is Christmas which is usually celebrating by gift giving. The patron saint of the holiday is St Nicholas aka Santa Claus, who brings gifts for children. (Spoilers: those presents are actually bought by their parents.) A Secret Santa is a gift exchange where everyone who participates gets the name of one other person and anonymously buys that person a present. So everyone gets one, but they don't know who it's from unless that person chooses to tell them. It's fun and a lot of workplaces or families do it to cut down on everyone having to buy presents for everyone else and spending all their money.

On December 3 (next Monday) I'll do the assignments and tell you who you're buying for. Get your present to me by 5.30pm December 19 (a Wednesday) and I'll deliver them all.

If anyone disappears before the 19th, I'll jump in to make sure no one misses out, and in case I disappear I'll leave the list with a couple other people so they can handle it. If we get taken to another universe... I've got no fix for that, so let's hope we don't.
