I am given to understand that I have been somewhat distant of late, and that this admittedly uncharacteristic behavior concerns my children. For any distress I have caused, I apologize.

Forgive my lapse in manners. I am Odin, son of Bor, King of Asgard and Protector of the Nine Realms.

i like to learn, which is putting my desire for knowledge in somewhat lighter terms. especially because in this place and time, i do not know anything so whenever an opportunity to learn more rises it is sometimes hard to not try and take it.

politically speaking, should there ever be a way to build a bridge between my lands and yours i would wish to know of those realms. i would not wish to greet someone who came to hyrule from one of these lands in a manner that would be rude or impolite.

i will, of course, understand if you wish not to share. i will be happy to read the tales written by the people here of them and see if i can find the grains of truth among them.

It is only that I am uncertain this knowledge would be of relevance to you, as I expect our kingdoms exist in different universes.

i can understand and respect that, but i will point out we are both in a universe that, while your lands might be tied to, hyrule is in no way tied to. so the question of what if such gaps might be bridged is a question i feel worth asking.

also i believe any knowledge can be of relevance, in some way. if only that whenever i might speak with thor and he speaks of these lands, i will have a point of reference. but i shan't press on the matter.

oh. should you wish it, i'm happy to offer information of my own lands.

Perhaps we should begin there, yes. Then I will know what may be of interest to you.

As I am currently traveling, I believe that this network is the most appropriate venue.

more then fair. i ask your indulgence for a long tale then. hyrule was created by three goddesses we call the golden goddesses. their names were;din, the goddess of power, naryu, the goddess of wisdom, and farore, the goddess of courage. but the three were not alone. once they had created hyrule, they then entrusted something known as the triforce in the hands of the goddess hylia and her chosen hero before departing from their world. but the demon king demise wanted the power and land for himself so he gathered up a horde of monsters to assault the lands, even managing to wound hylia. she then gathered up her people and placed them on an outcrop which she then raised into the sky and raised a cloud barrier so they were separated from the world below. once this was done she took the five tribes who remained on the surface and locked demise away. sadly, she knew her injuries were too grave, and that demise would break free so she chose to give up her powers and divinity, after creating a sword meant to aid her chosen hero, and be reincarnated into a body of a mortal, giving her soul to them.

her name was zelda, of whom i am a direct descendant. the first daughter is always called zelda in the goddesses honor. sometimes they lead normal lives. but, after the first reincarnation's tale ended, the triforce was split between mortals, as gods cannot use it. whenever it awakens, it means that one has a dire purpose, usually to fend of ganondorf, who i believe is tied to demise in some fashion. my part of the triforce is that of wisdom, which is why i know things i could not possibly know. it tells me, in a fashion. it is hard to explain.

link, who is the hero chosen by the goddesses, has the triforce of courage. ganondorf wields power. he will forever seek to take both of the pieces for his own, for with the complete triforce he could make a wish. it is somewhat of a divine circle. the triforce in it's own way, as much as anyone can comprehend a divine tool, wishes to be reunited. and every piece has a darkness to it, and power will always wish for more of it. so it influences us to repeat somewhat of a same dance. ganondorf will seek power, i will be kidnapped or have my life be put in mortal danger, and link will kill gandorf to save me and hyrule both. it does not excuse my last mistake, but ganondorf was cleverer then i thought he was. i should know better then to underestimate someone like him, but i did and my people suffered for it.

i am sure that offers many questions, all of which i'm happy to answer.
