I am terribly sorry for the trauma the bonfire caused. I had not anticipated that the little creatures would find themselves drawn to a fire when they were so scared of bright lights. I suppose the darkness surrounding it was enticing enough.

Perhaps some of my students could use it as the basis of a horror story for next year's Spooky Tales.

	I'm trapped between one heartbeat and my last. My death is a Fixed Point in history, which means it has to happen at the exact time and place. So if I died here, I would come back to life, the way Jack does. I have no heartbeat. I do not need to eat or sleep or breathe, though I do those things out of habit and comfort. 	Most Terrans don't believe in extraterrestrial life. I've seen it all in hundreds of galaxies and different times. I lived with a Silurian in the Victorian era. They resemble a humanoid lizard. It's a little boring. Clara. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Clara used to travel with me in the TARDIS. Things happened, then some more things, and then an neural block was placed inside my brain. It prevents me from recognizing her. I still remember Clara, and what we did together, but the block makes me forget what she looks like, even if she's standing right in front of me. I'll remember for some time, but then the neural block kicks in, and I forget again.

Clara wrote out these index cards for me to read whenever I need to remember, instead of explaining it every time.

	No, it only works with Clara. It's a very selective block. It wasn't like that. It's a devise. You touch the devise and it's activated, and inserts the neural block into your brain. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
