	Every year on November 11 it's celebrated here in America. I'm not fully sure of the whole history of it and how it came to be but it's a way to honor those who've been willing to fight for others and their country. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah. In May there's a day called Memorial Day that honors all those who died in wars. Both days are good ways to honor the men and women who choose to fight for what they believe in. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Honor those who died? A lot of people will go to monuments that are set up and lay flowers down. Or if it's a loved one, visit their grave.

Unfortunately some of the meaning has been lost for Memorial Day since people use it just for a three day weekend for barbecuing and sales to buy stuff. I mean, there's nothing wrong with spending the day with friends and loved ones but the meaning of why they're spending the day together shouldn't be lost on it, y'know?
