On Friday, I commented on a young lady's network post and heartlessly called her an 'idiot'. I sincerely apologize for my action. I allowed my temper to get the better of me, and promise to be more vigilant about what I write.

[Private to the Displaced Adults]

However, I stand by my concern for the Displaced underage youth. I understand they are required to have guardians when they arrive. How much supervision are they given? Tumblewood is turbulent and dangerous, and while I understand some of the youth have powers and may even be able to defend themselves, they are still children.

When I'm filtered into conversations I don't always go thinking to filter others into them too. And if people don't end up following up with you there ain't much I can do about that either, Sam.

Half of the kids end up picking someone after they arrive, often people they don't know. And I ain't sure even all of them got a guardian who are supposed to. Do we got any sort of tally on that? Is it something we're even supposed to be doing? I couldn't tell you. But with all the new arrivals we've been getting, it wouldn't hurt to see if we are missing anyone.

People who talk just among themselves should probably get used to having very incomplete information, as a general rule.

Actually most of them seem to be with someone at least from the same or similar universe, as far as I can tell, if not an actual family member or friend. We could always have a list of names (and just names, or whatever extra info people want to give) of people willing to take on the exceptions, but given the military runs the quarantine we'd need their cooperation for practically anything.

I feel like a few people have brought up having a list of people willing to take on exceptions but it just ain't ever come to fruition. It's one of them things we talk about but never actually follow through on.

And I ain't seeing why we need the military's cooperation to know who's in need of a guardian or not.

It's the same as laws, only happens when enough people are invested. Or a few rich people are really invested.

Spose we could probably work around them for that matter, with the ones of us who are there. If they're mostly working around quarantine they'd probably get most of the information anyway.
