There's [...] stuff I don't remember from when I was in the crystal. Like the drive to Ravatogh — it's just bits and pieces? My memories get fucked up. And sometimes I try to wake up, but there's this [...] pressure pushing me down. I don't know how to explain it, but it scares me a lot. I got so used to sleeping in that thing that being awake is [...] weird. Like I forgot how? I'm worried it'll happen again. That I won't be able to stop it from happening.

Noct, you were stuck in some magical crystal for ten years of course it's going to be kind of... scattered. ~~Maybe it's better that way -~~ You've also gone back and forth in time, have the magic of generations of your ancestors running through you - that's gotta fuck with you. I don't think all the rules of what's normal or not normal really apply.

But - if it worries you we can figure something out. Like set a certain amount of time you feel comfortable with being asleep for and if you go over that I'll wake you up. Or I can just try to wake you up randomly and see how easy or hard that is and figure out what your baseline is or whatever. So we know what's normal for you and maybe that'll help you feel less worried about it?

It's not an excuse, Noct. Like I get that you're worried and if you're worried I'm worried too. But some of it can also probably be chalked up to all of that. That and you went through some pretty rough shit, Noct. We both did - and I'm not exactly the world's most normal sleeper either. Just, you know, in the opposite direction. I'm not saying everything can be explained away by that but maybe some of it.

There is a pattern, I just didn't see it. The weird magic dreams happen when I'm hurt really bad. Sometimes it even happened when I was awake, like, fighting stuff. Everything would start to look too bright and clear and I'd feel the pressure thing again.
