Hi, I'm new here and finally out of quarantine. I wasn't sure what to do with myself now that my brother and I are here. I'm fifteen, but I can do lots of different jobs. I know we will need money.

Also, this world is so wonderous, so different than where I'm from. Is there some way to learn more about all the science and machines here?

Let me just say - my brother and I have been through a lot. I've got a bit of a temper on me, especially when it comes to people ragging on my brother. Honestly, I don't like seeing anybody being bullied and I'm not afraid to show them how wrong they are. I've done some pretty questionably moral stuff to stick up for the people who can't do it, themselves, for whatever reason. Some of that stuff includes beating the snot out of the other guy. But I've never punched someone that didn't deserve it in some way or another.

You'll be in good company, then. There are plenty of us who have been through a lot.

Temper or no, you aren't allowed to fight on the school grounds aside from friendly sparring. If there are issues, you are to get a professor before being violent. Bullying isn't tolerated and I don't expect you or your brother to be harassed. If a student is foolish enough to try, I expect to be informed.

I probably won't right now but...
My left leg is prosthetic. We call it 'automail' back home but it's a metal prosthetic that's linked directly to my central nervous system. I will need occasional maintenance done on it. I have someone that usually does this for me but she's not here. Do you know any engineers that can look at my leg, just as a preliminary caution?

	I know you don't like to be bored. But you wouldn't have to be. But yeah, we can both find something to do part-time after we get caught up. It sounds like we're really behind in studies if they go to school from 7AM to 3pm! 	Or that's just the way things are, here. Kind of makes me wonder why we were never in a "real" school back home. I know we had Izumi but her lessons to us were definitely different from whatever we'll know, here. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I'm excited to learn new things. Hopefully, chemistry won't be too different here? I've been worried about trying anything too big that could cause an accident if it didn't work. The basic alchemy I've tried worked as expected.

There's magic here too which sounds interesting. I never knew that was real anymore. Ms. Frost also said that there were people here will sort of powers like healing and elemental controls!

I'll need to get back fighting ready in this body if there are so many potential dangers.
