I daresay I almost missed the constant thrum of insanity weaving through our growing collective. Not enough to join in on it, however. Provided I can help it.

Let this be a lesson to many of you, that a funhouse is neither fun nor a house, least of all when placed within our close proximity.

I tried to keep normal people away from it. You know, stopping them from going in by asking them for directions. Annoyingly. Until they forgot about it.

Badgering others into forgetfulness, that is a wise tactic. Well done.

It was that or watch them stumble in and out and try to find out where they live. You saw how many of US went in there.

It is remarkable anyone took a chance, though not entirely surprising. Normal people hope. I simply doubt.

Most of us are curious, headstrong people. I'm not really surprised.

Indeed. Curiosity, while not a trait to be condemned, does not always lead to ideal outcomes.

I've seen what happens when people turn into teenage versions of themselves. No thanks. Way more trouble than it's worth.

Our troublesome teen aged years are best left far behind us.

I never want to think about my mom and Giles ever again.

As a rule, I suspect no one wants to think of their mothers with somebody named Giles.

HEY, only I get to make fun of Giles's name. He was my Watcher, and that was his last name.

An English gentleman, no doubt. Yes. I've known a share of Giles in my day.

Rupert.

He's thirteen now. It's a long complicated story that involves resurrection.

Ah. So now he's revisiting the twilight of his preteens. My condolences to him.

He hates it too. Prone to temper tantrums.
