We've got a problem.

Some recon into Sweetums has discovered that they've come down with a sickness. The symptoms? Purple pustules, green dots, and vomiting. Those of us who were in space, whether we caught it or not, are carriers and we've infected these people.

We've got to come up with a solution from our limited means here.

About that, I think. Three to five days? Some of the magic users might be able to help ease symptoms at least, I know most of their proper treatments need ingredients that don't exist here though.

Another thing to consider. The sandstorm yesterday. That's another mode in which the virus could transmit. I've seen it happen on multiple planets back home.

Is there any way we can find out how far that thing went? They would be in danger too.

Problem with that - it's Sunday. In 1953. No one's putting out newspapers today, which means waiting longer. We don't know the distribution areas for the small local ones, either.
