If anybody needs water, warming charms, anything else - let me know. I've got my magic working now that I'm out of my pod.

Oddly enough, I'm looking forward to hearing that list. Hopefully we'll be bored for a bit.

Yeah, I don't remember that either. People popped me out of mine while I was still unconscious, and I never knew which of the pods we brought back was the one I was in.

BEN
D'you think that power-blocking thing applies to wolves, though? Because that could come in handy.

Granted some are not by choice and more cautionary tales of 'this is why you make sure your mouth it closed before landing in the East River'.

Same. I was pretty bad off when I got pulled out anyways, so I'm not sure I would've noticed if there were dampeners or not.

[James]
That is actually a good question... I mean, it'd make sense if it did. If it stops your magic, you could transfer that over to it stopping the curse from doing what it does. It's worth experimenting with, especially since...

I don't remember the moon being this full last night.

East River's that gross, huh?

BEN
Oh - I was just thinking it might be able to keep you in. But hey, if you didn't transform, that'd be even better, wouldn't it?

[...] Shite. Yeah. How do you feel?

Only a smidge better than being in the actual sewer.

[James]
Ha, I leap-frogged right over you there, didn't I? But, I mean, either would be good, right? Not transforming even better, but anything that could keep me in one spot... We'd just need to finagle it so that it couldn't be opened from the inside. Last thing we need is all that good work messed up because a paw landed in the wrong spot.

Cranky that my down time is now revving back up time? But relieved that I didn't step out of the pod into a really bad situation?

I spent plenty of time with sewage in Mt. Weather, I can imagine it.

BEN
Leap-frogged. That's an excellent phrase. I'm going to use that.

Not transforming would be brill. I'm crossing my fingers for that. But I imagine we can find some way to modify it to lock you in even if it's resistant to magic. Magic warding might work on the outside - or if our kinds of wards don't work, maybe someone else's type of magic would.

You're right, our timing could've been worse.

Mt. Weather really is nothing compared to NYC, but that does give you a good idea.

[James]
It is a very fun word. Especially when you've got the skills to be able to leap frog anyone no matter the height.

My fingers are crossed too. That'd be... that'd be great. Like getting spoiled up in space all over again, even if the 'room' is smaller. I wonder though if the magic warding would work on mine or not... It's worth testing.

No kidding. Y'know, I don't mind all this upheaval and travel, except that I always have that intense moment of panic of what day we're actually on...
