Those of you chosen for the first day's experiment will awaken and find yourself in a room split into four chambers by glass walls, each occupied by a fellow house member, and all of you will have nooses around your necks. The rope is taut and there is no way to remove it.
The house has an experiment it would like to test, and you are the lucky volunteers.
Two of you will be placed on a side with three buttons before you: One for the house guest on the left before you, one for the house guest on your right before you, and one for both. You have an hour to agree on a choice (and remember, refusing to make a choice, is in fact, a choice). When you have decided, each of you will press the corresponding buttons before you. If your choices do not match, you will have to discuss again. The choice must be unanimous between the two of you.The other two, unfortunately, all you can do is sit and watch. Get comfortable.
Remember, those of you with the option to choose, you will only be able to speak with the person next to you. You can see the other two people, but the glass wall in between you and them is soundproof. The same is true for the two of you without the option to choose; you will be able to talk amongst yourselves but you cannot hear the Decision Makers on the other side of the glass.
For those of you not chosen for today's test, you are free to talk amongst yourselves outside of this post, so long as you keep the subject line THE BASEMENT to separate your affected character(s) from the house at large. The partition between the testing chambers and the basement make it impossible to see where your fellow house guests have gone once they have been shuffled off nor will you be able to hear anything going on in the testing chambers.
Happy testing!
[MOD NOTE: The choices made have one hour IC time, however you've 12 hours in real time before we will step in and call it a stalemate. Choices refused or not made within the twelve hour window will be randomized as this first day's groups were. All groups will be randomized moving forward, so your character may never be put into a group, or they may end up in more than one group. The results of each day's experiment will stand in play for the week. Order will be restored in the Week Forty-Seven Change.]
