I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but for those who aren't already aware, Katniss is dead. Her death seems to be related to the rash of attacks that have been occurring lately, so I'm sharing the details in the hopes that they might help us make sense of what's happening. We don't want any more people getting hurt.
She was found beaten, with the back of her shirt ripped open to reveal the word "lisand" had been cut into her skin. All of this occurred in a short span of time while her younger sister was momentarily out of the room.
If anyone knows what "lisand" could mean, or how it could be connected to the symbols or whispers involved in the earlier attacks, please share.

This is quick because i'm trying to work it out, but assuming lisand means island and the symbols are a pig pen cipher, i got...either mutt island or mutu island.
I'm not good with decoding messages, though. I feel like it should be mako, but...
If anybody could have got their symbols wrong, let me know.
EDIT: Matt was attacked first. If we assume one of the lesser/greater than signs was actually a mistaken corner, it can spell out Matt Island.

Considering the tragedy that happened last night, I thought it might be a good idea ask who has medical training here? At the moment I only know of Dr. Banner and Nic. I have some field training, but I know that advances have been made since my time.
