When you've sort of a restless spirit such as myself, and an itch to travel, you spend much of your days exploring - especially after being tossed into a realm where turtles wear shoes and then the next city over, robots are on the outskirts.

Anyway, point is, I found a potentially useful place to stock up on weapons or have them made, which I intend to do - going with a crew might be best, however, so who wants to come with me Jefferson? I'd bring a fair amount of coin if you've got it. And don't come unarmed, even if you've got to use a rock to bludgeon attackers with.

Jolly good, then. You mean you didn't arrive with a wand? I'm shocked.

Jolly good! Yes, I quite like that.

I'm more of a ring man, myself. Fine taste in jewelry, a terrible vice. You'd find that rings are also much more convenient of an arcane focus than wands, with their length and the waving and potentially dropping them. Indeed, the three rings I use, why, I wouldn't trade them for anything!

But, wands have their uses.

When you say 'wand' I just put something else entirely in there and it amuses me to no end, I've got to admit.

A man with a vivid imagination is a great wizard in the making. There's hope for you, yet!

It's mostly a dirty imagination, I should add. I'm probably better at pirating as opposed to wizarding.

Well, don't stop imagining on my account. In another life, I think I'd very much like to be a pirate sorcerer. It sounds like all sorts of fun. And very lucrative.

Well, look at it this way - if turtles can wear shoes here, surely you can dabble in pirate sorcery.

The ocean holds many secrets, and quite a bit of magic.

Wouldn't I be compromising a lifetime of responsible sorcery by dabbling in dastardly piracy? I wouldn't want to become one of those awful wizards, would I? You'd have to teach me, of course.

That's the fun part, the dastardly piracy. I'll give you some tips, aye - we'll start off by seeing how well you can hold your liquor.

Fair challenge. Rum is my favorite, spiced rum particularly, and cinnamon rum reminds me of home.

You're already on your way to proper piracy - since it's my favorite too, and the phrase 'cinnamon rum' goes right to my loins, feel free to get handsy as well.

Is that the second lesson, getting handsy?

Naturally. One of the most important lessons too.

My, if it's that crucial, we should proceed with its teaching posthaste.
