CHAPTER TWO. THREAD. Abigail and Ben.
WHO: Abigail Murphy and Benjamin Stone.
WHAT: After worrying over him for a few days she finally bites the bullet and goes around.
WHEN: 5th February, 2208. Afternoon.
WHERE: Ben's apartment.
RATING: G, currently.
It had taken five days to make her come out here and see him. Five days of worry, distraction and five sleepless nights. Abigail hated how he still effected her, how the fact that she'd heard nothing from him for a few days still made her worried and restless. She'd argued with herself - he was no longer her problem - and had finally been told by Carlyle to go and see him, to make sure he was alright. If only so she would stop walking a rut in his carpet.
She'd tried ringing and tried to reach him over the Ether but the fact he was blocking quite hard must mean something had gone on. Though, she'd heard it, the loud resonate of screams and calls which had flooded the Ether, which had made her sit bolt up right and made thoughts of him suddenly flood her. Since then she couldn't help but wonder if something had happened. What if he was injured? what if he needed her help? She hated this, this seperation of them but she knew no other way. She would not give up on her daughter and that had driven him away. This was her own fault.
Though it was that need to make sure he was alright, to make she he was safe thad her hovering near his door, indicisve as she tried to make herself knock and see if he was there. It was like being a teenager again, unsure and nervous. Abi lashed out, kicking the wall beside his flat and let out a groan of frustration, "God damnit, why do you always do this to me?" She muttered lightly, finally drawing in a deep breath so she could make herself knock on his door. Once this torturous moment was done she stepped back, waiting for him to open up or turn up. Either would work for her right now. "Come on Ben..."
