Lily didn't know where she was or what was going to happen to her. Everything at the Hogsmeade weekend seemed to be a blur. She was dueling Bellatrix and she had heard shouts from behind. She had glanced to see others rushing to her aid and for a brief moment, she thought things were going to be alright. That was until she was hit. She couldn't remember much from then, just shouts and other spells speeding by, but someone was dragging her and they had apparated...at least she thought they had. How else would they have gotten here? And where was here? As far as she could see she was in a room of some kind, filled with various artifacts and pieces. Bellatrix had tied her to a chair and gave that ugly cackle, telling her she would be back. But it had to have at least been a day and there was still no one there. What were they going to do to her? Each minute that passed made Lily feel more and more on edge and she had given up on trying to calm herself.
You brought this on yourself. She had cried, she had yelled, she had cursed. Of course none of it mattered as no one came to her aid and she was just left to sit there. Thousand of thoughts swirled through her mind, things she regretted and wished she could make right. If I get out of here in one piece I have to do them all. She wanted to talk to Severus, to truly forgive him for what happened. She wanted to tell James exactly how she felt. She wanted to help Sirius with a school wide prank. She continued to make this list in her mind, anything to get it off the torture of what was to come. She was sure they had a plan for her, but she didn't know if they would actually kill her or not. If that was the plan, wouldn't they have already done it? Stop, positive thoughts. You'll get through this and you'll be able to do all that stuff and more.
The sound of footsteps brought her out of her reverie and her head snapped up, looking towards the sound. "Hello?" she called, wondering if it might be a friend to help her. But she would not be so lucky.
