VARIETY SHOW REC - RUNNING MAN
Considering I have marathoned all available subbed episodes, starting rewatching them all over again, and even stream it live when I can (with no subs of course), I think it's safe to say I love this show.

Running Man is an "outdoor" variety show, meaning they don't film in a studio. Instead each week they pick a famous or otherwise notable landmark in South Korea and lock themselves in for the night, then compete in various missions that fall within the theme of whatever landmark they've visited that week. The rules have fluctuated since the first episode, but basically, either in teams or individually, everyone competes for 'running balls' and whoever wins gets to go home straight away, and whoever loses has to be punished (usually by wearing hot pants or otherwise embarrassing clothes and forced to ride public transport during the morning rush hour, lol).

I started watching this show because I heard that Yonghwa was a guest and was hilarious on it (he appears in three episodes in fact), and then when I was browsing the guest list, I saw that Siwon had been on and Heechul and Yunho and Changmin, etc., etc. So I downloaded all the episodes with guests I was interested in, but soon I didn't even care about the guests, because the regulars are fantastic and the games are ridiculous and seriously, the show is just full of Grade A Korean Crack.

The best place to find subs is here: ISUBS. They offer download and streaming versions of all eps they have subbed. They also provide links to some of the earlier eps that other sub teams completed. You do have to join their forum to see the download links, but there's no minimum posting required or anything like that and it's free, so it's easy.

I'd probably recommend starting out with an episode featuring a guest you're interested in (you can find a full guest list here) and then if you fall in love with the show format and the regulars like I did, start from the beginning. The first couple of eps are shaky as the group are still getting the feel for things, so I think its best to watch those once you already know and love the cast. I'm serious though. This is probably the funniest variety show I've ever watched. I've laughed so hard, my stomach cramped up and tears streamed from my eyes and my neighbor (read: my mum lol) complained about all the gleeful noises I was making. CHECK IT OUT. And then come back here and squee with me. XD
