There's a woman in the nexus -- this is nothing new or unusual, especially not this woman, who has been to the nexus many times in the last few years of her life. A different part of it, admittedly...it counts, okay, so shut up.
For those of you who do or should recognise her, the only real visible change is the thin tanline where her wedding ring used to be. Given it's a part of the nexus she's never been to, she's not really expecting anyone to know enough about her to notice. She's probably right about the majority.
Anyway, let's skip the exposition. Donna's lighting a cigarette (as she so often is), and she shakes the match out, brushing her hair out of her eyes and examining her surroundings. "So. Nexus. Make me feel better about myself. What's the biggest mistake you didn't learn from the first time?" |

A young man walks in, looking kind of battered. He looks human, but his face and body language are slightly different than normal. He quickly scans all the people in the area and seems to be searching for something in particular. Then he gets distracted by the sign and reads it. He isn't in the habit of obeying signs, but this one is interesting.
"What would you do if you suddenly went from power to poverty? How would you cope?" |

A very brightly colored young woman comes wandering in. She sees the sign and makes a 'meh' face. "Question? I got a bloody question. What do you do with someone who talks about things that you ought not to talk about?" Is she mildly irritated at someone she knows? You could say that, just a bit. |
