My God. I have seen much that baffles the mind: artifacts that can fell whole civilizations, echoes of supernatural beings from before the dawn of man, and a pretty redhead in Florence who could put her entire foot in her mouth. But this?

This little square macchina that writes out my words and can paint a handsome face in the blink of an eye? Fantastico! I only wish I could show it to da Vinci.

Perdono. I am Ezio Auditore da Firenze. Please forgive me if I process the rest of this madness in my own time.

So far it seems to be entirely harmless, if a little confusing.

Good. If that changes, do let me know. I may not have Leonardo's engineering genius, but I am quite good at breaking things that would otherwise hurt someone.

I shall remember! It does seem quite strong, I'm not sure throwing it at a wall would do much at all.

Oh, simply pitch it from a--damn, I am going to miss rooftops.

There is a lot I miss about living aboveground. Though perhaps not in the dead of winter.

Good point. I never did care for the snow. Have you been here long enough to know if it gets warmer eventually?

Unfortunately I haven't, though people have said that there are three more months of winter. Midwinter was a little less than a month ago, so I imagine it will start warming before three months are up.

I will hold onto hope. I am more accustomed to rainy winters and summers so hot there is nothing better to do than strip bare. Ah, I am making myself homesick already!

A little hotter than Summersea, from the sounds of it. If I wanted winters like this one I could have stayed in Namorn. The winds that come off the River Syth are legendary and all the palace buildings are connected by enclosed walkways.
