My apologies if this has been talked about before, I'm afraid I'm still not used to this device and I don't always think to check it. My work keeps me busy, which I am grateful for. I forget how important it is to be social.

My question is about the holidays of this season. I've heard many different names, but I would like to know about these celebrations.

FILTERED TO KILI

I've spoken to Lily Potter about a group that meets for people who learn of their death. I'd like to see it for myself, will you join me?

People here do seem to really value being social and pushing people into being that way as well. I understand why they do it though, it isn't easy for any of us to be here.

As for your question it depends on your religion as to what you call the holiday but most people call it Christmas. It has become more about giving and receiving gifts now than what it was originally intended to celebrate.

I know from my perspective dwarves are in higher spirits when surrounded by our kin. With nice fire, good food and music. To be shut away with no one to talk to would be very lonely.

Religion? What is the origin of Christmas?

Recently I've preferred to just be with one person rather than a group but that actually sounds like it could be nice. I don't know how open to fires they are in this place though.

It might be easier for me to try and find a book that explains it all rather than try to type it all out here.

I have been several times, when Jessica was still among us. Of course I'll go with you! You'll like it, they're very nice.

Thank you.

I'm not sure what I will say, but I'm willing to listen.

You don't have to know what to say. I hardly ever know what to say, I just say what I'm thinking. Perhaps something will come to you as you listen.

That's three of them mashed together, actually. Kwanzaa, Hanukkah and Christmas. It turns out a lot of people think a holiday at midwinter is a good idea.
