I am working on putting together an understanding of what ingredients are available for potion making, which, in theory, has the opportunity to assist us in medicines and the like here. But before I can do any testing, I must put my hands on a pewter cauldron. Size two would be helpful (and I can provide dimensions for such a thing), but I can work without the exact dimensions.

The metal, however, and the process by which one is made - those are more difficult. What are the likelihood that we have the materials to make a pewter cauldron?

	In a way. It isn't directly in the sense that I don't have all of the ingredients I need, but without a cauldron I cannot begin even to think about what I might be able to do for anyone. I don't know what the radiation will do to the ingredients I can find here, or the metal for that matter. A cauldron is at least a first step. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Well, I need a cauldron to brew things in. The Pewter is the standard - what people begin with, but Copper is actually more efficient as a conductor. You have to know the timing on things, which I generally do. There is a magical component though - a stainless steel pot would simply not brew correctly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
