Who: Angie Martinelli & Edwin Jarvis
When: Monday, August 17
Where: Jarvis's Apartment
What: Angie is Concerned
Rating: Low.
Angie was lying to Mr. Jarvis. But she'd lied a lot, mostly about she was okay with her brothers going off to war, and then about Neil going MIA. And then she lied about liking living by herself. New York was a big city, and even with more cousins than she could count no more than a phone call away, sometimes even her cozy little room was too big. She wasn't completely honest with him when she'd said she was okay, because she wasn't. She missed home and her parents and stupid little Passaic more than she let on. She had dreams at night, filled with the new fears from Mount Weather and old fears -- just nights ago she dreamed that Jack had come home from the war a werewolf. But even while she had worried and fretted her way through the war, she'd tried to be strong for her mother. In being strong for her parents, Angie had found a way to be strong for herself. Mr. Jarvis lived alone, and she had the idea that he wouldn't be entirely open to receiving a lady caller with no one else there. Well, too bad. She knocked on the door, calling out, "Mr. Jarvis? It's me, Angie! Are you home?" |
