Pets will be allowed, however there are certain rules, restrictions and regulations all students must follow.

Elementary Students
Are not allowed personal pets in their dormitories. However, there is a house pet in their dormitory that they may interact with when they have free time. There are also pets in their classrooms which they all help care for as part of their educational experience.

Middle School Students
May be allowed one aquatic based pet per room. All roommates will be responsible for seeing that the pet is properly cared for. In order to be granted a pet, a student must first be thirteen years old, and must have passed basic inspections requirements for three months in a row. Once granted permission, the room must be in agreement about the pet they wish to apply for, and no room will be allowed a pet which may bring harm to a roommate. Allergies and psychological profiles will be taken into account before permission is granted and a pet may be obtained.

High School Students
Are allowed one pet per person. Each student is responsible for his or her own pet. Pets must fit into an aquarium, terrarium, or cage. Room inspection requirements must be met in order to keep an animal. Animals that are ill cared for will be confiscated and the owner will be put on probation and may or may not be allowed a pet again in the future. All students applying for pet ownership will have their record reviewed before permission is granted. Roommates will also be reviewed, whether or not they are also applying for pet ownership.

College Students
Are allowed one small pet per dorm room. Each student is responsible for their own pet. Students must continue to pass inspections in order to maintain ownership of a pet.

SHIELD Cadets
May have pets, but it is neither recommended or encouraged.

Hedgehogs, Sugar Gliders, Ferrets & Birds will not be allowed.


Size is important. Your character will not be allowed an animal that will grow too large. If a character deliberately disobeys this rule or acquires a pet not allowed in their age range, the animal will be confiscated and disciplinary action will be taken.

Characters are allowed more than one fish if they choose. But please keep numbers reasonable.

Pets are entirely optional. Your character does not need to have one prior to game start. Nor are they required to obtain one as game progresses.
