The Masters Plan The Master paused long enough to use his laser screwdriver to close the door he had just run through. "For the last time, it's mine and you can't have it!" He yelled through the window of the door at the aliens who were chasing him. In reality the object he cradled in his hand was not his. Or rather had not been his until now. Still, every time the Master yelled to them they got even more angry, and what was the point of theft without a little fun? The Masters method of obtaining this particular device had not been particularly original but there had been little choice. The foolish aliens practically worshiped their own technology and their security was such that the Master was forced to retrieve the device himself.
Nevertheless, nothing could stop the Master now that he had it. With a final wave to the aliens on the other side of the door the Master straightened his tie and walked the other way. Rather than trying to exit the building at the bottom, the Master headed straight for the roof. Without even pausing to look back he strode confidently across the roof towards the edge of the building. When he was almost there, weapons fire sounded behind him. Without looking back the Master shouted, "oh I hardly think that's necessary. You do know what would happen if you were to hit the device, right?" Amazingly the Aliens stopped firing for the moment, apparently thinking over the prospects of the Masters words. Just as the Master reached the edge of the building a ship came into view, its door open and ready to receive the Master. "Well, I've enjoyed my stay but I believe I'd best be going now." The Master said gleefully before stepping onto the ship.
Only his foot never landed. Instead he started falling. The fall lasted just long enough to cause the Master to let out an undignified yelp before slamming into the ground. This time in Cardiff.
