Kitchen Section
Moving away from the open area you find a tiny area set up as a kitchen, with a gap between to store the canned food acting as a corridor.

He flushed slightly, looking away, then bent and took the ball away from Snap. Picking up the soft bowl with the left over rinse water, he turned and handed it to Sally. "Toss this, and bring me back the bowl, yeah? I think the food's ready."

Sally disappeared for a second, before returning with the bowl. "Gone into the recycling filters, waste is bad for the soul."

That brought a (very brief, but genuine) smile to his face -- then he focused on the food. "Eating tools?" He arched an eyebrow at her. "And do we eat at a table around here, or just find a corner and growl at anyone who comes too close?"

"Growling doesn't work...Kara's better at it." Sally grinned. "The table folds out."

There was a brief, amused flash of challenge in his eyes at the comment. "No...Snap's got us all beat." He nodded, accepting the plates she handed him, and began to portion out the food. Carefully, he gave full portions to all the humans, leaving about a quarter of the meat and carrot mixture in the saucepan, then put a pair of oatcakes on each plate. Picking up the first two plates, he nodded at her. "All right -- where?"

Sally wandered ahead into a room off the main corridor, which obviously used to be a conference room, and began to fold out the leaves of the central table.

He followed her, the dog at his heels, and put the plates down on the table, then returned for the last three. "There."

"And he's domesticated...What dya think Snap, should we keep him?" Sally smiled first at DP then down at the dog.

Snap ignored her, nose rising to sniff at the table, then turned away, moving to sit next to DP's ankle, looking up at his master. DP avoided her gaze, saying, only, "Ought we tell the others?"

"I'll call them, does snap need a bowl?" Sally asked suddenly

DP shook his head, flushing slightly. "I... he eats after me. I'm pack leader."

"S' cool." Sally shrugged, ignoring his embarrassment
