Who: Tony, Pepper and baby Matt
What: Putting up Christmas decorations and stuff

Pepper had been lucky. Her parents had decided they needed to go off for a weekend just by themselves to see if they could patch things up. It meant that Pepper was going to have to watch her baby brother Matt the entire time but she didn't mind mostly for one reason. She'd called Tony later on, telling him that her parents were leaving, and he suggested that they both stay the weekend with him. That was music to her ears.

After the week was up, her parents packed up their things and kissed their children goodbye and headed off into the sunset. She waited an hour before she called Tony to tell him they were coming over. She got Matt's things all together for the weekend and her own and then put him into the car and drove over to Tony's.

"Sounds good.." she kind of nuzzled up against him. "I missed you," she whispered in his ear, rubbing up against him a bit like a kitty rubbing their head up against someone to get attention. "Mm I think everything I want I don't really want to wait until Christmas for.." she said a bit naughtily, biting on her bottom lip. Honestly though she couldn't think of anything she wanted. "Really though I don't know. I guess when we go out.. I'll look around and see if anything catches my eye."

"I missed you, too," he said, sighing as she rubbed against him, his grip on her tightening. Though his ears perked and turned a little red at her suggestive tone. He lifted his head to see her biting on her bottom lip, and it made Tony lick his lips unconsciously. "Later, I promise. After we get him into bed for the night. We have a tree to finish decorating." But god, she was going to make it hard for him to concentrate. "One day, you're going to leave home and not have a car of your own. What about that? Or one we can fix up together?"

	That's why she was going to behave. Honestly. But she couldn't help but be a little turned on by the way he was licking his lips and obviously thinking about her. "Yeah we do. But I can't wait for tonight." she kissed his neck a little bit actually wasn't squirming in his lap. See? Being good. "A car? I.. but wouldn't they know somehow? Or.. something like that." "Neither can I. It's been a little while since the last time and I've been waiting for you." Which meant he'd somehow kept his hands off himself since their last time. "We'll get one and work on it together. It'll be ready by the time you graduate and then it won't matter." And he wouldn't touch it without her and be tempted to fix it up for her in record time. "Then you can pick out interior, paint job, all of that stuff. Consider it as a long term graduation gift slash Christmas gift. They'll never see it until afterward." He picked up an unboxed ornament and let it dangle from his fingertips. "Let's get this done. The sooner we do, the more time we have for us."

Her eyebrows went up a bit in surprise. "Really? You haven't? I'm impressed." And she wasn't going to tell if she had kept her hands off of herself either. "You're just going to get me a car? You're.. spoiling me.." first the computer and now this. "But I do like the idea of fixing it together even though I know nothing about cars. I guess if you get me it for Christmas I won't have much of a choice.."

She grabbed the ornament and then lifted off his lap so that they could actually decorate the tree and put the ornaments on instead of nuzzling and cuddling each other.

He snorted, "Yeah, well, it's been a tough time, but I managed with a little willpower..." and running himself into the ground that he was so tired he fell right to sleep and never thought about it. "Never know what Santa might leave under the tree for you. And I don't mind spoiling you. I like the look on your face when I give you something unexpectedly."

He stood up and picked up a couple of ornaments and stepped around the tree, placing them on it, then stepping back to make sure it looked okay. It'd drive him nuts if it didn't look right.

"Well I promise that this weekend will more then make up for it." She didn't want to find out about him running himself ragged. Of course she wouldn't want him to do that. "You're the only one that is allowed to do so." And she was getting better at actually accepting gifts and telling him not to take them back. Slowly but surely anyway.

Letting him fuss with the tree, she tried not to move things around just to drive him a little crazy. She glanced over at Matt who hadn't paused the game but apparently was half asleep because he was up against the couch and the guy on the screen wasn't moving. "I think someone's passed out."

Tony was just about to put another ornament on the tree when he looked over to see the little fellow almost completely out cold by the couch. He chuckled and hung the ornament then walked over to where Matt was. He crouched and turned off the game, then took the controller out of Matt's hand and set it aside before gathering the little boy in his arms. Matt woke up just a little bit and yawned, then grabbed onto Tony, his hand fisting in his shirt. "Ready to go to bed? You can play Panda tomorrow some more."

He nudged the stuff to the side with his foot and walked over to Pepper. "Tell her goodnight and Iron Man will take you upstairs and tuck you in," and to that, Matt smiled and buried his face against Tony.

It was amazing because at home Matt never wanted to go to bed, especially not for his parents. But he had spent the night often now at Tony's, and he liked it there. Plus he wasn't in any position to say no since he was mostly asleep anyway. She grinned down at her brother and kissed his forehead. "Night little man.. sweet dreams. I'll be here when you wake up."

"Night night Peppy.." he said sleepily and let Tony carry him up to bed. While they were gone, she went and finished up on the tree until all the ornaments were up. Now they just had to put on the star. After she found it, she went to find something to climb on to put it on the top.

Whenever they weren't here, it always seemed like the house was empty to Tony, like if he could hear their voices in it, he knew everything was alright. He put his hand on Matt's back, rubbing it softly as he carried him upstairs to his bedroom, which Tony had let Matt pick stuff to decorate here and there over time so it felt more like home to him. Pulling the covers back, he laid him down gently before tugging the covers back up to his shoulders and tucked him in, then leaned down and kissed him on the head. Brushing back his hair from his forehead, he told him goodnight, and sat on the bed a few minutes to lightly stroke his hair while he watched him sleep. Some part of Tony really wished this was his son or mused that if he and Pepper had a boy would it be a sweet little redheaded kid like him? Now, this had definitely got him to thinking about kids.

He went downstairs to find Pepper looking around for some way to put the star on the tree, then smiled, "Here," and he moved her closer to the tree and put his hands around her waist and picked her up high enough for her to reach it.

Guess that was one way of doing it. She steadied herself as best as she could and leaned over as he picked her up to put the star on the top of the tree. Thankfully she didn't wobble or fall down on top of it or anything like that. She did however make sure that it was straight so he didn't have to mess with it. "There.. thank you." she grinned down at him and waited for him to put her back down, or at least a bit lower, not that she wanted to be let go really.

"He's fast asleep I take it? You didn't even have to read him a bedtime story."

He wouldn't have dropped her that easy, and he was decently strong enough to hold her up for a little while steadily so she could tend to the star on the tree. "You're welcome," he said as he set her back down on the floor,hands still clasping her waist. "Mhmm. He was a goner the second his head hit the pillow." Sometimes he wondered if the kid ever slept at home at all with how easily he slept there.

"Now it's just you and me..." he purred as he pulled her back against him, wrapping his arms tightly around her.

As her feet touched the floor she smiled up at him and kept her arms locked around his neck. "Good.. he needs a good night's rest." she quite happily moved to press up against him a bit. "Maybe we should stay down here so that we don't wake him." Um not that she was planning n being loud but she had missed him quite a bit.

And because she had, she did what she had wanted to do ever since she got there which was leaning up and pressing her lips against his, sliding her fingers back into his hair.

"We can stay down here. I can start a fire in the fireplace if you want. Wouldn't want you to get cold once I've got you naked," he murmured against her lips as he buried his fingers in her hair, kissing her deeply. "I've missed you so much..." he whispered as he let his hands roam over her, down to her hips and wrapping tightly around her waist. "Feels like forever since we've been together." Which it did, and Tony's body adequately responded to her touch because it'd been longing for her for weeks.

"Mmm that sounds good. I'd like that. No wouldn't want to get cold but I think you'd fix that even without the fire." But it did sound nice. So she kissed him again, harder this time and then backed them up so that they were getting closer to the fire place. "Not as much as I've missed you.." she whispered back, tugging on his hair a little and nipping on his bottom lip. "I didn't want to be away from you.." she kissed down to his neck and then let him go.

"Go ahead and start the fire before we get too carried away to remember.."

God she really had missed him. Tony could tell as much with how Pepper was a little more aggressive than usual. Not that he minded in the least. He broke away from her but not before giving her another long kiss and set to work on the fireplace. He was actually surprised that he had some wood but he quickly stoked a fire and closed the floo to let it build.

"Why don't I get us a blanket while the fire gets bigger for us?" Because he really wanted to make love to her like that, with the fire going and the two of them tangled together in front of it.

To be honest, she was rather miserable when she wasn't around him. School was boring and being t home just sucked. So of course she missed him more then usual. Letting him go make the fire, she nodded and smiled. "Okay.." and she looked as innocent as could be. Which could only mean one thing.

As he was going to get the blanket, she wiggled out of some of her clothes. She took off her pants, and her bra, putting them to the side and then laid down in front of the fire without the blanket, just kind of waiting. She figured he'd want to take off some of her clothes but this way it wouldn't take that long. And she knew he rather liked her legs.
