Hi everyone! I'm Gwen (she/her) and I bring to you two new characters - Charlotte Lucas (![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

Charlotte Lucas - Charlotte is the oldest child of Sir William Lucas, a Hertfordshire gentleman who was once a tradesman and was presented with a knighthood upon retirement. A member of a large family, Charlotte isn't pretty enough, nor does she have a large enough dowry, to attract many suitors. At the age of 27, she is fully aware that this may be her last chance at marriage instead becoming a spinster aunt to future nieces and nephews. While she's pragmatic about the whole thing, she also yearns for something... different. Even if she doesn't know exactly what that would be.
Phillip Crane - Phillip studied botany at Cambridge, believing that as the second son of a baronet, he would not be needed to manage the family's estates. After his older brother passed away, he found himself forced into the baronetcy and also in the position of marrying his brother's intended. The marriage ended months ago, leaving him a widower with two twin children, Amanda and Oliver. He's come to Summerview in hopes of finding someone who can be a mother to them. (He will be entering the game a little later, after the next ball, as he's a Bridgerton character.)
Anyhow, I look forward to making new connections with all of your characters! I love Regency novels and can't wait to watch characters from across these many novels intersect. :)
