An unaccustomed frown (to those who didn't know him well at least) flickered across Fred's face as he tidied up his workspace. The journal Remus had dropped off had been here a few days ago, but now it was gone. A quick look around the office showed no signs of it, and after he checked with George (who was working upstairs) the mystery deepened.

"Oi, Ver!" he said, coming out into the shop proper and noticing that there weren't any customers. Business had been off ever since the coup. He'd have thought people would want to laugh, but even the orders from Hogwarts were down significantly.

	"Davies?" Fred nodded, mind working quickly. "Well, no sense stirring the pot. Unless he complains, don't say anything to him, yeah?" He peered at her. "Hmmm, don't be so sure about that," he said, lifting a hand. "I think I see something right .... there."

He poked her right in the forehead, gently though, and grinned. Leaning over, he handed her a Mischievous Mirror, which not only commented on one's appearance but also added wrinkles, warts, boils, and a plethora of other fun attributes. "See?"

	Giving her a smacking kiss on the cheek, Fred smirked as he headed toward his office. He needed to inform Remus that things had gone pear-shaped with the list of Muggleborns requesting help. "Piffle - that's why you love us so." (Reply to this) (Parent)
