Gawain was shaking with fury as he left the Minister's office, though he tried to keep that under wraps. He had been wondering what was happening to the Ministry, what had happened to Pius Thicknesse, and now it had all become clear. The pardoning of the Death Eaters had been writing on the wall, and he just hadn't wanted to read it.

Now he had to include Death Eaters in his search for Harry Potter - and the Minister hadn't even pretended it was about Dumbledore any longer.

He used the lift ride to attempt to calm down. If he was this unhinged, his men would be even more so.

Tonks nodded once, looking content with that answer, especially since the girl seemed so frank and honest about things, "Very good, Miss Bell. Will you please be certain to come to the ministry with any other information that might come to light? If you hear of where he might be or happen on some leads in that direction? Otherwise, I'm finished with the interview."

She looked over to Xavier then, giving him one last chance to ask any other questions, but Tonks seemed content -- almost too content -- with how things had gone.

	Lupin was far too smug about the girl not producing useful information. He'd have to look into that- perhaps she'd been primed beforehand. Regardless, the situation would be fixed soon enough. "I have nothing further to ask just now," he said, shaking his head. "We won't keep you any longer then, Miss Bell." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Just now... Katie almost gaped at that, thinking it as a sign that she'd be brought in again. Or at least she'd be looked into further. She hoped the sign was wrong. (Almost gaped, if she hadn't been trying to hold back a pleased grin at being let go.)

Instead of appearing too excited to leave, she merely smiled politely to both of the interviewers, standing to leave. "Thank you, Mr. Selwyn. And you, Auror.. Lupin?" That was what Xavier had called the other interviewer, correct? Katie didn't wait for confirmation.

"Have a good afternoon." She finished before leaving the office swiftly, letting out a breath she hadn't known she'd been holding as she turned the nearest corner. Hopefully that's the end of that...
