I use Jon Stewart as a PB for a Harry Potter MWPP-6th year game on insanejournal. He is a professor at Hogwarts, and I'm looking for other professors to keep him company, make friends and enemies with, and for a romantic storyline (or two!). I'm down for anything, so please comment to me if you're interested!
LOOKING FOR A PLAYER (OR TWO) About me and the character I play: I'm Missy and I play Ben Stalk cultureshock over at On The Map. I'm around more on the weekdays than on weekends, and more during the day than at night, but I am around almost all the time, and I give absence notices if I'm going to be afk.
Ben is a Middle-Aged Wizard who has just been through a fairly messy divorce. He's a fun-loving, carefree sort of fellow, with a wonderful sense of humor. He has two children who take turns spending time with him and time with his wife. He works as a professor at Hogwarts School, and has special permission from the Headmaster for his children to come and stay with him from time to time. He teaches Muggle Studies.
(Note: I also play nashford at the same game, and I'm looking for storylines for him as well.)
Character(s) wanted & why: We need more teachers at the school. Specifically, I'd love to see Cornelius Grump (a name that was created for the DADA teacher). I was hoping to get someone to PB a Daily Show actor, or Steven Colbert. (Imagine the icons!!) I'm up for a Best Friend plot, or a Secret Love plot, or an "Oh my God, I'm gay!" plot. I'm really up (or down, I guess) for anything. Ben would porbably get along with the DADA professor or the Herbology professor the most. I think it'd be hard for him to understand the Divination professor or the Arithmancy professor.
If I get Ben involved in a slash line, then he's going to need some other friends around him to help him figure things out. There are a TON of characters available here to choose from. I'd love to see more teachers, as Ben would probably find that sort of conversation inappropriate to have with his students. (But I can't say no to more characters, no matter who they are!)
Contact Method: Please feel free to leave me a comment here, or to go check out the game. You can comment on Ben's application page to reach me, too. Thank you for reading!
