Anybody wanna play a bamf (I'm thinking police-officer extraordinaire or something to do with law enforcement/helping people) 37 year-old single father to a college student whose love of his life and mother of his child disappeared not long after the kid was born and he doesn't know why or where...But whom he's going to find is back now and looking exactly like she did all those years ago? (She's an angel, she never told him. More details to be disclosed)
Or the abandonment issues-clad 19 year-old college student who never really got why mom left JUST when he was born?

PS: I'm thinking of Shemar Moore for the dad and Donald Glover for the kid, but they're mere placeholders, I can be persuaded otherwise.

The occultist sleuth in his bio to apply to ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) gates_mods, please? Quick version, the Sleuth was at the end of his rope and performed a dangerous and costly binding ritual to secure the Angel's service. The motivation for this is completely open-ended. Once the job was done, they had pretty good synergy going and Heaven wanted the Angel to stay in town anyway, so they continue to work together every now and then. I wouldn't mind the cliche of Jensen Ackles, but anyone evocative of gumshoe-noir would be perfectly suitable.
