Ugh. A big fat nothing for both of these days. I blame work for making me EXHAUSTED by the time I get home. Will to draw is there, energy to do it not so much. Determined to at least get everything sketched if not coloured. DETERMINED.

I am failing so utterly at this. And you know what, instead of drawing Damn for the challenge, I drew and shaded Damn for warm up, and that is it. What? I ask you. What? I need to get over this dumb paralyzing fear. It is stupid and not helping matters.

And it is a further nothing on my scoreboard, ladies and... ladies! Until I get the tablet back, I'm doing sketches and lineart only! This May Take Some Time. I will endeavour to provide you with a palette, though.

Full body frontal sketch completed, inked and scanned. Still can't decide if I want to get home from work today and start colouring or draw everything first - all dependant on how much I get sketched out at work before I have to go pick Karen up.

So, I... may have done nothing today. >_> I had good intentions, but my tablet is fucked, and I got distracted writing fic. On the bright side, the fic might have distracted you all from beating on me. :D? ...D:
I might be able to fit in some sketches tomorrow during lunch. More likely I'll have to do most of the week's work tomorrow night, because I'm going out on Wednesday and possibly Friday... -_- Tell me again why I know people?

Begun designing Damn's markings which have become painfully detailed. I vote for two versions of Damn: the detailed, and the mind-preserving-simple-one.

Well, I felt stupid after forgetting how to draw Akira's damn hair and kind chucked it in after that. Managed to get one full body roughly sketched and the start of face and hair detailing. I imagine this is going to take a lot longer than I would like...especially since most of this arvo was a right off since had a friend visit.
Tomorrow is another day!

Am beginning to suspect that the fullbody will take four days, and the rest of these sheets will take about two. XD In any case: have rough lines for both fullbody sketches, and a palette sorted out. Might get to some expressions tonight. Am mildly amused that Xolotl is the only fae with a surname.
Soel keeps fucking up on me, so I might have to go back to using a mouse pretty soon. >_>; Good thing I've been considering an Intuos recently...

...I've been thinking we should add an action shot to the character sheets. Like, a pose they'd often be seen in or something. To get the feel of them. >>; Let me know your opinions.

AUTUMN 2009 CHARACTER SHEET CHALLENGE
The Rules:- As of Sunday April 26, you are expected to complete one character sheet every week until Sunday 05 July. This means that your first is due, complete and online, by the time you sleep on Saturday 02 May.
- Each character sheet must contain:
- full frontal body sketch (coloured)
- full
backal posterior body sketch - bust (coloured)
- colour palette
- three different expressions (FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES ←

- detail shot (clothing, eyes, teeth - something.)
- basic statistics and interesting facts
- a defining moment or quote
- Each week you fail to complete a character sheet, you add a character sheet to your tally. We start off with ten sheets to the challenge; if you miss one, you add one, and your total goes up to eleven. These must still be posted by Saturday 02 May.
- You can earn bonus points by completing alternate outfits for your characters! Five alts gets you a free pass to skip out on one character sheet - but only the first alt counts per character, or I will just design princess dresses for Hiru for two months.
- Tag your entries with !!! challenge ! autumn 09, ! [username], and by 'verse and character, as usual.

...to give her a hand sorting out what the next challenge ought to be, guys. As far as I can tell, we're going with character sheets, but we're all at different places in our character designs, and sheeting may or may not help with that, so I'm just after some basic input. :)
