[Captain America has been living in this town for about a week, spending time looking over the network and the town to see how things run and he's learned some things. Vampires, werewolves, and other storybook monsters exist, but not all of them are evil. He's seen the way that locals are treated and the way that the rich here get richer as the poor get poorer. He knows about the wall and the monsters beyond. He can't fix it all in a day, but he's going to spend whatever time he has here trying to save as many people as he can. That's what heroes do.
He knows Tony's here. And Thor. And some other heroes, but they're not working together. This town needs Nick Fury. He'll have to put in some work. He stares out on the bridge, planning his course of action when he sees a teenager run up and steal a woman's purse. He chases the robber down and gets it back for her, scolding the robber never to do this again, then escorts him to the high school]

He stares at his mom's house as they walk, tuning out what Winnie says, he wonders if he should go inside.
