Garret & Mickey
WHO: Garret & Mickey
WHEN: 16 March 2014
WHERE: Snacks!

The shivering was caused by the cold. This drafty old mansion - or was it manor? - had nothing but open cracks that just let the cold air in. At least, that was what Garret was blaming his shakes on at the moment. Mickey had been nice, but he was a genie who controlled fire! Much different than anyone else in his coven. Aside from his abilities, Mickey was new! And older! But he was in his same house so there had to be a reason why they'd both been sorted into Kitsune.

Following Mickey's instructions, Garret only got lost twice before finding the vending machine. He didn't want to bother with the kitchen and having to make something - morning would be there soon enough to go and get actual food with everyone else.

The coins fell like granite gulps down a giant's gullet. Garret got his Three Musketeers bar first and then let the machine devour the dollar bill like so much spaghetti. He pressed the buttons for a Snickers but his reflection in the glass went slack as the candy bar got hung up on metal curl. "Oh no," he grumped, biting his lower lip. "Come on," he urged, smacking the side of the machine to no effect.

Damn. Mickey was getting hard. Boys with eyes like these and faces like these and oral fixations? Yeah. Time to have some fun. It had been a while.

"You like that?" Mickey brought the finger to his own mouth and took it in, sucking as well. He couldn't really taste Garret, but he could pretend he did. "Sweet," he said. "So, wanna see my room?"

Not that Mickey had any problem doing this by the vending machine, but it would probably be frowned upon.

Garret was getting into dangerous territory, and he felt that secret sense that everyone has start to tingle. He had just met this guy, and while his magnetism was undeniable, Garret knew that he didn't want to get a reputation like that just as he was starting over.

It felt like tar was on the bottom of his feet as he took a step back. "I...don't think I should, Mickey. Th-thanks for showing me the machine and helping me." He held out the rest of the Snickers, it was the least he could do, honestly, and while he knew what he'd be doing in his room as soon as he got back, it didn't involve the Snickers bar.

Mickey didn't know what the guy was thinking, but he could guess. "Hey," he said, grinning confidently. His hand reached out, cupping the little dove's cheek: "Remember, it's just us. Won't be anyone there. We can play around a little, won't be anyone the wiser."

For a guy facing blue balls, Mickey was being surprisingly reasonable. Mostly because shouting would achieve the opposite effect.

Garret wanted to, he really did. The thought of going back and doing just what Mickey said, playing for a little bit, perhaps getting comfy-cozy under the multitude of blankets Mickey hinted that he had, was pretty tempting. But...he was freshly transplanted. He wanted to but his brain was working overtime.

"I...just got here," Garret stammered, his face heating up. He'd gone and ruined it. This sexy guy would never call him Dove again and would shun him and make him look stupid in front of all the cool, older kids. Large eyes looked Mickey in the eye, he wanted to turn his head just slightly to let his lips brush his palm but didn't, instead pulling away completely, pushing the Snickers bar into Mickey's open palm where his cheek had been.

"Don't hate me," Garret half-begged in a quiet whisper.

Mickey shook his head, giving a defeated grin. "I won't hate you," he said, even though he hated Garret a little right now. He pocketed the Snickers bar and gave Garret a look. "Though next time, I might want to take out some of these frustrations on you." Little tease.

He stretched and retreated, deciding to go back to his room. "Hey," he said over his shoulder, "you have my number, little Dove." And with that, he was gone.

That was a relief! The bravado Garret had had over the journals seemed to deflate. Mickey was a nice guy and a statue of masculinity. Garret gave Mickey a little smile, and it grew as the fellow Kitsune's remark.

Before Garret could find his voice, Mickey was gone. He looked at his candy bar and decided he wouldn't make it back to the room. He was off to find the Boys' Room.
