Garret & Mickey
WHO: Garret & Mickey
WHEN: 16 March 2014
WHERE: Snacks!

The shivering was caused by the cold. This drafty old mansion - or was it manor? - had nothing but open cracks that just let the cold air in. At least, that was what Garret was blaming his shakes on at the moment. Mickey had been nice, but he was a genie who controlled fire! Much different than anyone else in his coven. Aside from his abilities, Mickey was new! And older! But he was in his same house so there had to be a reason why they'd both been sorted into Kitsune.

Following Mickey's instructions, Garret only got lost twice before finding the vending machine. He didn't want to bother with the kitchen and having to make something - morning would be there soon enough to go and get actual food with everyone else.

The coins fell like granite gulps down a giant's gullet. Garret got his Three Musketeers bar first and then let the machine devour the dollar bill like so much spaghetti. He pressed the buttons for a Snickers but his reflection in the glass went slack as the candy bar got hung up on metal curl. "Oh no," he grumped, biting his lower lip. "Come on," he urged, smacking the side of the machine to no effect.

Mickey came down to the kitchenette from the stairs, wearing track pants a white shirt. He was going barefeet. He looked like he either just got up from bed or was about to sleep in one. The ruffled hair didn't help either.

"Hey," Mickey said, nodding towards Garret. He registered the boy as 'cute'. Dove was an appropriate nickname, as the boy had something fragile about him. Fragile, but attractive.

"Stuck, eh?" Mickey said. Vending machines had to be on the top of most infuriating machinery, next to parking meters and computers with slow internet connections. "Here," the djinni said, slamming the side of the machine with his flat hand. The entire thing trembled.

"H-," Garret cut himself off as he took in a deep breath. This was Mickey? Someone who shared a name with a mouth shouldn't be allowed to look like that. "Hi," Garret finally managed, nodding his head at the question. He took a step back and folded his arms up, fingertips playing with his necklace and he looked at the screen. "I got my Three Musketeers but your Snickers is just hanging out."

After getting over the natural shock of Mickey's good looks, he eased into a nonchalant attitude. Which, obviously, was shattered when Mickey practically made the earth shake. The Snickers fell down and Garret was quick to reach in and snatch it up. "Candy acquired," he said, biting his lower lip as he smiled.

"You're really good at that."

"Thanks," Mickey said, noticing the biting of the lower lip. That was a flirty move, no doubt about it. His grin widened, showing his white teeth. His blood always ran a little hot, but faced with a hypothetical prospect, it got really going. To be fair, Mickey was always easily turned on, but Garret was playing it just the right amount of coy.

He leaned against the vending machine, gently invading Garret's space. "So," he said, "what I gotta do for a quick taste?" He paused, then motioned at the object in Garret's hand. "Of the Snickers?"

"Oh, so now you have energy enough to snack outside of your room? Before I had to bring it to you. Me, a stranger in a strange land." Garret relaxed a bit, wagging the candy bar at Mickey. "But you don't have to do anything, especially not strike me like you did that machine."

Garret tucked his own candy bar slightly into his elastic yoga pants, just to free up his hands. He really wished they had pockets on them. He grabbed the wrapper and gently eased it down, exposing a chocolate end. "My hands are clean, if you still want me to feed it to you." A flash in his mind - that was what Mickey had said, right? Blood was having a hard time deciding to either flush his cheeks or drain to his feet.

"I always have the energy to eat," Mickey said. "Getting the energy to get out of bed when you're all snuggled in, that's the hard part." His eyes traced the movement of the candy bar, and then followed the downward movement to Garret's yoga pants. Mickey liked yoga pants. They left little to the imagination.

Mickey smirked, caught Garret's eyes again and then leaned in, his mouth open.

A soft sort of sound left Garret's lips in agreement. That always was a great feeling, the cold at bay, stayed only by the bunching blankets wrapped all around one like a luxurious cocoon. Blinking at Mickey as he leaned in, Garret put his thumb and index finger on the bit of candy bar.

While it would have been good to just have the candy bar snap off like a KitKat, no such luck when it came to Snickers. The nuget and caramel oozed away from the larger part, Garret twisting it the best he could so it didn't dribble on either of them. With the piece as neat as it was going to get, he reached out and popped it into Mickey's mouth, quick to take his fingers back, sucking on his thumb to get the chocolate off his pad.

Mickey wasn't sure if the boy was being coy or being downright avoiding of him, but it was a damn shame. If you put your fingers in his mouth, it would have been a lot more fun if he got to suck them, wouldn't it? Still, not all was lost: Mickey could feel a few crumbs of chocolate on his lips.

He wiped them off with his finger, the remnants sticking to them. He grinned, and offered his fingers to Garret. "Want mine too?"

Garret smiled, shrugged his shoulders. "You shouldn't talk with your mouth full," he said, taking a bold (to him) step closer and letting his fingers wrap lightly around Mickey's hand. It didn't really matter - Garret was sure if Mickey wanted to shove his whole fist in his mouth, it would be done.

Leaning in, Garret licked at the tip then took it into his mouth, sucking lightly so he got all the crumbs off. Big eyes looked up at Mickey as his tongue did a half swirl and he began to pull his head back.

Damn. Mickey was getting hard. Boys with eyes like these and faces like these and oral fixations? Yeah. Time to have some fun. It had been a while.

"You like that?" Mickey brought the finger to his own mouth and took it in, sucking as well. He couldn't really taste Garret, but he could pretend he did. "Sweet," he said. "So, wanna see my room?"

Not that Mickey had any problem doing this by the vending machine, but it would probably be frowned upon.

Garret was getting into dangerous territory, and he felt that secret sense that everyone has start to tingle. He had just met this guy, and while his magnetism was undeniable, Garret knew that he didn't want to get a reputation like that just as he was starting over.

It felt like tar was on the bottom of his feet as he took a step back. "I...don't think I should, Mickey. Th-thanks for showing me the machine and helping me." He held out the rest of the Snickers, it was the least he could do, honestly, and while he knew what he'd be doing in his room as soon as he got back, it didn't involve the Snickers bar.

Mickey didn't know what the guy was thinking, but he could guess. "Hey," he said, grinning confidently. His hand reached out, cupping the little dove's cheek: "Remember, it's just us. Won't be anyone there. We can play around a little, won't be anyone the wiser."

For a guy facing blue balls, Mickey was being surprisingly reasonable. Mostly because shouting would achieve the opposite effect.

Garret wanted to, he really did. The thought of going back and doing just what Mickey said, playing for a little bit, perhaps getting comfy-cozy under the multitude of blankets Mickey hinted that he had, was pretty tempting. But...he was freshly transplanted. He wanted to but his brain was working overtime.

"I...just got here," Garret stammered, his face heating up. He'd gone and ruined it. This sexy guy would never call him Dove again and would shun him and make him look stupid in front of all the cool, older kids. Large eyes looked Mickey in the eye, he wanted to turn his head just slightly to let his lips brush his palm but didn't, instead pulling away completely, pushing the Snickers bar into Mickey's open palm where his cheek had been.

"Don't hate me," Garret half-begged in a quiet whisper.

Mickey shook his head, giving a defeated grin. "I won't hate you," he said, even though he hated Garret a little right now. He pocketed the Snickers bar and gave Garret a look. "Though next time, I might want to take out some of these frustrations on you." Little tease.

He stretched and retreated, deciding to go back to his room. "Hey," he said over his shoulder, "you have my number, little Dove." And with that, he was gone.

That was a relief! The bravado Garret had had over the journals seemed to deflate. Mickey was a nice guy and a statue of masculinity. Garret gave Mickey a little smile, and it grew as the fellow Kitsune's remark.

Before Garret could find his voice, Mickey was gone. He looked at his candy bar and decided he wouldn't make it back to the room. He was off to find the Boys' Room.
