Deep down, he knew she was right. There was still a part of him that wanted to look after everyone and provide the island with supplies but there wasn't any energy left in him to work on storing more batteries up. "You're right, you're right, of course," he hopped off the counter and pressed a kiss to her forehead gratefully. "I can stop for tonight, send the batteries out when the path is clearer."
Giving her arm a squeeze, he nodded. "Yeah they do, might see if it's anything dangers. Hold on, I'll grab a couple." Aaron didn't know how Na'vi sight worked but if Jake couldn't see anything either, it might not have been any better than human sight. He took a few strides into his weapons closet, unlocking it from a key around his neck.
Going back with a couple of rifles, he chucked an empty gun at Jake. "You make anything out with those bug eyes, kid?"
