Who: Adele and threecenturyman Steve
Where: The diner
When: The day after this - http://asylums.insanejournal.com/compass_comm/1012263.html
What: Trading Fairy and Super Solider Advice
Warnings: Probably None. Adele might swear.
Open: No.

Adele was already at a table, sipping decaf coffee with no sugar added in. There was no way she needed any extra energy; she put the days of spending all day in bed behind her when she had changed with Steve. It was the only good thing that had come from the swapped powers. As much as it sometimes scared her, she missed her fairy side. And she was constantly worried that she was going to hurt one of the Sully pets, or worse a person. She was surprised that the mug in her hands hadn't shattered yet. She felt like a monster and she suspected that Steve might be feeling the same way about her light and her telepathy. She looked up when he walked in and waved him over to the table.

"Only the stuff that's spoken out loud." Steve looked down. "Nothing that's just thought."

"Yeah, but from a mile away, it could still be stuff I wasn't meant to know." Adele sighed. "Sometimes, I feel like I know too much already."

"It's only if you concentrate and really try. Stuff in the same building, you'll have to filter out. As you get further away, you have to focus."

"That's not so bad then." Adele took a sip of her coffee. "Is it gonna be the same way for sight, smell, and all that too?"

He nodded. "Sight is better than average. I can usually smell what people actually smell like. I could close my eyes and tell you who walked into the room with me."

"That..um.." Adele chuckled. "That sounds unpleasant."

"Not really. Most of the time it's not bad as long as everybody showers regularly. It's the ones that don't that get pretty pungent." He made a face.

"I can see why you like running. It had to be better than working out in a gym full of sweaty people." Adele joked.

Steve just chuckled and shook his head. "Plus, I like being outside. Right now the forest is kind of quiet because of the snow but during the spring, there are so many sounds. It's easy to clear my head."

"So you use nature as a white noise machine?" Adele asked. "I'm kind of the opposite. I like quiet to clear my head but it's hard to find sometimes."
