Cullen chuckled softly, when he found himself a seat in the chair that accompanied the table. "I lived in worse than this, in harsher weather. Winter before last I managed to stay alive in a burnt out husk of a rail car. This'll be warmer before tonight. Just gotta get the roof back on, then all the heat will stay in."
He split his in half and took a bite. "I can imagine. I'd reckon that'd make me want whatever it was more." Wasn't that always the case? Wanting something you couldn't have. He took another bite himself. "You know, Miss Sookie, these are some mighty fine biscuits. I'd wished for some honey and butter before I had a bite. I reckon then don't need either."
