Who: Steve
Where: The Jedi Temple
What: Planning
When: Monday evening
Rating: Low
Open: To Jedi Temple residents
Status: Ongoing
Steve was starting to get a little antsy. The days were getting shorter until Michael would be born and he still hadn't even planned the nursery yet. Finding the room was easy enough as they had a sort of suite in the temple. All he had to work on was getting the furniture and painting the room. That would be easy enough. Though he currently stood in the room with some paint swatches he'd found in one of the stores, trying to decide exactly which colors to paint the walls. And he would definitely have to figure out what mural he'd put on one wall, as he'd done with all of his children. Each one had a different mural and this one would be no different. He just hadn't decided just what it would be yet. Getting the wall color figured out would help. He bit his lip as he kept holding the swatches up to the wall.

He'd been that way with all of his children, it was just something that he did. Steve kissed her belly once more before getting to his feet again. "Alive and healthy is definitely the preferred state." He kissed her cheek. "Any preferences on furniture color? I found this great dark cherry set in one of the stores."

"Not particularly." It honestly didn't matter to her. As long as it met their needs and Steve was happy with it then it was fine with her. "If you think it will mesh with what we already have then that should work."

"I'll paint first and then see how it looks." He smiled. "The dark color might end up clashing with the o Ean theme."

"Of course. It wouldn't do to have the furniture clash with the paint on the walls." She was teasing him just a bit, Micha knew it would bother her almost as much as it would bother him. Jedi simplicity or not, she knew what she liked.

"Has Kytana talked with you at all about being a big sister?" Their daughter had Steve wrapped around her fingers, and the two had a closer relationship in this time than between her and Micha.

"There are a few options." He nodded, then walked over to the wall, looking at the texture.

"Not since I first told her, no." He shook his head. "She seemed pretty excited, though. She still says that he's actually her older brother because he's technically being born before her." He chuckled.

"I trust you." She followed him and rested her head on his shoulder.

"How very literal minded of her."

Steve slid his arm around her and smiled. "Well, she is your daughter." He chuckled.

"I'm not that bad!" Micha protested, using the Force to goose him lightly in retaliation for the joke. "I'm a Jedi. not a robot."

Steve jumped a little and looked at her. "That's extremely unfair, you know that right?"

Micha smirked at him. "I do, but you love me anyway."

"That I do." He kissed her softly on the lips. "And speaking of that.....we haven't even talked about a date yet." He took her left hand in his.

"When doesn't matter to me," Micha replied, squeezing his hand in return. "It would be nice to have an outdoor ceremony in the temple gardens though, so in the spring?"

"And I'm pretty sure you don't want to wear a maternity wedding dress." He smirked. "How about early May?"

"It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if I had to, but yes." Micha smirked in return and nodded her agreement. "May will be lovely."

"You'll look gorgeous no matter what you wear." He kissed her cheek. "At least now we've got it narrowed down to a month. We can talk more about the exact date a little later."

"That sounds like an excellent idea." Micha smiled back at him and let her hand slip out of his after giving one final squeeze.

"How about something to eat?"

"You know me, I can always eat." He chuckled. Even as long as he'd been on the island, he still didn't eat as often as he should have with his metabolism, but he never turned down food when offered.
