Claire was a little overwhelmed, but not in any way she couldn't handle. Or didn't want to handle. At his worried word and gentle physical assurance, she nodded against his jaw, a small thread of emotional laughter in her breath.
"I'm good, I promise-" she sniffed, then cleared her throat a little again. Her lips touched the side of his mouth softly, for good measure before she pushed herself up to a sit and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand.
"It's just... I seem to have no emotion-filter anymore." Useful things, those- especially in their line of life.
