Who: Steve and Kytana
Where: ending up at the Jedi Enclave
What: Kytana's arrival
When: Saturday
Rating: Low
Open: To residents of the Enclave
Status: Ongoing
In spite of his daughter's objections, Steve took a shirt with him to go find her. It was really good to have her here. Especially for Micha. It didn't take him long to find her, or to convince her to get the shirt on. And it took even less time for them to make their way through to the Enclave. "You don't normally wear a swimsuit. When did that start?" It seemed kind of pointless with her mer form.

Nothing could keep the smile off Steve's face just then. "Love you too, sweetie." He opened the door for her and chuckled. "No doors at the moment and no bands yet. I'm sure if you ask Isabel she can put on a little concert for you." He knew that's not what his daughter meant but it was fun.

His little princess smiled and shrugged a shoulder at him as she bobbed along. "It's not the same! I want to jump around in a mosh pit and go home yelling because the speakers blew out my ears," Kytana said through a plead and a laugh. "Oh, well. I'll just have to make music by myself."

Steve laughed. "I'm sure a door will open and you can go to a great concert." He started toward the lift that would take them up to the right room. "Until then you'll just have to make due with an iPod or something."

"iPods are so 2010," she said with a laugh of her own as she stepped up onto the lift. She looked around, looking for differences or the signs of newness where the land she knew had signs of age.

"This is kinda weird, you know that, right?" Kytana asked with a smirk as she continued to observe their surroundings.

"I know, it really is." He nodded. Getting to the correct floor didn't take very long and when the doors opened, he motioned for her to go out ahead of him. "Seeing people I haven't seen in centuries is very strange, too."

"Sounds it," Kytana looked back at her father with a grin before skipping off. "Mom's this way? Don't tell me. I'll find her with The Force," she said this in such a way that was obviously mocking, but only mocking to herself. Her powers were pretty bad in her opinion.

Kytana's lack of self confidence at this age was her worst flaw, in Micha's opinion. She would grow past it eventually, but it was intensely frustrating for both mother and daughter. Micha had done what she could, but she was too close to truly be impartial with helping to move Kytans past it. Perhaps the woman she'd named her daughter after would be able to help her faster than had been possible in the future.

She'd sensed her daughter's presence since before they entered the enclave, and Micha's face broke into a wide smile when Kytana came into view. "Hello sweetling. I've missed you!"

Steve chuckled and then nodded. "Uh yeah, she's that way." He shook his head and started to follow her, copying the smile on Micha's face. It was good to see her really smile again.

Bounding up to her mother, Kytana threw her arms around her readily. "Hi!" she called. "Like I said to dad, I've missed you for the little while I was out of the house!" she released the woman and looked her over for signs of differences. Her own hair was dyed an array of colors.

It was chalk, fear not!

Micha studied her in return, both with her eyes and the Force. Finding her the same irrepressible free spirit she remembered from that age she let her smile grow even wider and returned the hug with equal enthusiasm. "A few hours for you, several months for me. Did you have fun on the beach?"

Her daughter's attire left little doubt as to what she'd likely been up to, though neither of them bothered much with swimsuits for actual swimming.

"I did," Kytana replied with a nod, fiddling at the shirt Dad had brought over for her. "There were some new guys," she said by way of explaining her attire. "I didn't want to scare them. They were soooooo plain. Never seen real magic before, just those tricks magicians do." She shrugged and tossed at her hair, looking around.

"I'd go up to my room but I assume it isn't here." Hm. "I wonder if my things will show up."
