Gretel made a strong effort to follow his explanation, even meeting his eyes as if they would offer some further reference. They didn't, but the reassurance in his gaze was encouraging none the less. She felt like she got the idea.
"Light particles..." she parroted back, and went back to her examination of his skin. "Like water mist in the sun..."
