He tilt his head and looked what only could be described as embarrassed. Vision did not look away from Gretel but he paused as if stalling, trying to figure out what to say. He was so used to being a simulated program. Interacting with others as a face seemed unique. Not difficult. Enjoyable.
"My apologies," he said in pardon, instead. "I did not mean to offend. I am only concerned." Vision looked away, finally, those white eyes so bright within his raspberry skin.
Vision felt as if he had moments of perfect fluidity where he was human, just like everyone else, he fit in and it was fine. Then he had moments where he knew he was different, strange, and reverted to the only thing he knew best; his system.
