Tommy was sat on the patio outside, surrounded by rocket parts and schematics. Sarah had suggested launching some rockets, but for them to do that, he needed to build them in the first place. He'd finished building the rocket engines in his lab in Stark tower, and he'd drawn up the schematics in the early mornings after watching the skies when he'd drank too much coffee to go back to sleep, and then corrected when he'd finally had enough sleep and caught his errors. Sure, he could have asked JARVIS to check them, but he enjoyed doing it all himself when it was just a couple of rockets. JARVIS always got to check his important stuff, after all.
He reached for his mug of coffee, long since gone cold, and drank a mouthful as he held a couple of components together with his magic, helping the glue to cure properly while he did so. The sun was nice on the back of his neck, and he relaxed into his seat as he slowly let the half-built rocket spin round, checking all the pieces as it moved in front of him. Muttering under his breath, his coffee started to get warmer and warmer until it reached the right temperature. A quick chopping motion with his hand stopped the spell, and the rocket paused in the air until Tommy gave it a little nudge and set it spinning once again.
