It had actually been pretty easy to sneak away from the house. The people that took him in were very nice but he wanted to see things. He wanted to be out and exploring. It was one of his favorite things to do. He only wished that Gretel were with him to do the exploring. It was a lot more fun with her. He ended up in a nice little area that had some places to sit and some flowers. The sun was shining and it looked like a great place to just sit and enjoy the nice weather. He took a seat in the grass and ran his fingers through it. It reminded him of a clearing not far from his house. "Hallo, mine name is Hansel." He practiced in a thick German accent. He wanted to be able to talk to people and not everyone here spoke his language.
