She didn't like the fact that Stevie had to hide, but she figured it'd be for the best, at least for now. They could tackle that issue later.
She rolled her eyes a little bit at her father's behavior. He'd always been a little bit that way but it almost seemed like he was trying to be as rude as possible, just to prove something.
She sighed a little but nodded, "Okay." She did lean in first though, pressing a kiss to Dean's cheek. "I love you. I promise to be back in a few hours. There's some spaghetti in the bag by the door if you get hungry again later." she told him, then slid off the bed, putting her shoes back on and heading toward the door. She paused before going out though, one arm around her middle, "Thanks...for helping Mrs. Rogers. I'll see you soon Daddy." She gave an awkward little wave, turning out the door and almost bumping right in to Stevie in the process.
