"I haven't really been thinking about it." Mary Ellen hesitated, but not for the reason they seemed to think. She'd missed her dad. It felt a bit like both of them disappeared when Max did and with Stevie out watching him, she'd been lonely. "I don't think I could eat much more." she murmured, not dishonestly. She'd been eating so little the past weeks that the big plate Peggy'd made for her had been more than enough. "But I'll-I can go anyway." She wasn't looking forward to going back to the quiet apartment but she figured they were probably right.
