He hadn't taken much time to himself lately. Spent most of his time taking care of the children, letting Marian have whatever time she needed on her own. Today was different. He needed to get out of the house. To just walk around and try to clear his head. There was a part of him that said this was his fault. That he'd caused things, even though he hadn't. He still felt terrible for the things he'd said to Marian when she first told him she was pregnant. He knew that she still hurt over that.

When he left the apartment he just started walking, not worrying about where he was going. He just wandered around, not paying attention to where he was walking. It was the best way to get things straight in his head.

"I was told I couldn't father children. And then I came here and either the island fixed me or the doctors in my time were wrong and I had a chance. To really be a father. And then it was just....taken away." He sniffled again, this time not bothering to wipe his eyes. "I went through one of the doors, the one to Sunnydale, and killed everything bad I could find. And it wasn't enough to get rid of the anger. I just...I want to damage things. I can't sleep half the time. I keep thinking she'd be so much happier without me." He let out a shaky breath. "She's always deserved better."
