That was why she liked him. He was bright, and quick. Sure it had taken a few leaves for him to notice something was amiss, but he hadn't marked them all down to a common occurrence with trees overhead. And his smile, though small that it was, was enough to grow hers.
Without second thought she dropped from the boughs, landing in a nimble crouch beside him. "Hello Robin. It is good to see you." Laura pronounced as she stood. She dressed more for comfort than for bounding around on patrol, as she had not yet started her rounds. Denim, and a simple black shirt fit to her slim figure. Though her boots were common place, there were few shoes made that could withstand a blade jutting out from them, should she need to use it.
